The lawyers Rogério Fernandes Ferreira and Sérgio Brigas Afonso and one of the consultants of RFF & Associados, Manuel Teixeira Fernandes, provided an article about the new Angolan Customs Tariff for Import and Export Rights that came into force the past 1 of March

In a commentary to Oje newspaper, the lawyers state that through the raise of the rates of customs duty applicable over the importation products by Angola "the aim is to foster the production in Angola, namely through foreign investment in areas considered to be strategic for the country's development". They state, also, that the case of beer "is, in this perspective, paradigmatic, becoming the customs duty rate from 30% to 50% ad valorem".
